Sara Martin's Class

I graduated from Alabama but married and moved to Mississippi where I taught for 23 years. My family moved back to Alabama in 2003 and I've been at the Blount County Learning Center since then.

I live on Highland Lake with my hound dog, Colonel, and multiple cats. I have three children and five grandchildren.

My classroom is a small, self-contained environment for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.

I have taught special education for 38 years and have served students with various disabilities. I have worked in self-contained and resource rooms as well as homebound.
